Local tip: Park once at the eastern end and walk — traffic here is slow all day.
Hastings Street is Noosa's beating heart — a walkable strip of cafes, designer boutiques and beachfront that opens straight onto Laguna Bay. Start the trip here with a slow coffee where the longboarders come in, and let the pace of the place set the tone for the days ahead.Everything is a short stroll from everything else, and the calm, patrolled beach is ideal for a first swim before the crowds build. When you're ready to move, the boardwalk north leads you gently towards the national park.

Noosa National Park
The Coastal Track is the signature Noosa walk, hugging the headland past Tea Tree Bay and Dolphin Point out to Hell's Gates, where the ocean surges through a rocky gap and the whole coastline opens up in front of you.
It's around 5km return at an easy pace, but the reward is in the detail — koalas dozing in the pandanus, turtles in the clear water below, and, from June to November, migrating whales offshore. The track is beautiful but exposed, so carry water and sun protection.
